As a family owned and operated business, David’s Jewelry & Coin Exchange has helped people throughout Bryan, College Station and the Brazos Valley buy, sell, repair, appraise and discover meaningful pieces for many years.
The vast majority of our showroom inventory is estate or previously owned and purchased directly from local customers and families. That gives our showroom a personality of its own, with pieces from different eras, makers and collections. You may find an antique diamond ring, a vintage gold bracelet, collectible coins, silver bars, a preowned Rolex or an authenticated Louis Vuitton handbag.
Before jewelry reaches the showroom, pieces are inspected and receive cleaning, polishing or attention from our jeweler as needed. With certain vintage and antique pieces, we intentionally preserve the original character, patina and details that make them special.
One of the biggest advantages of estate and previously owned jewelry is value. Because we purchase directly from the public, many visitors are surprised by how much further their budget can go.
You may find a larger diamond, distinctive craftsmanship or an engagement ring with details that are difficult to find in newer jewelry. Some pieces are classic and timeless. Others are bold, unusual or completely unexpected.
Choosing estate jewelry also gives existing diamonds, gemstones and precious metals another life, allowing beautiful pieces to continue being worn and appreciated for generations.
Understanding value involves more than weighing gold or silver. Diamonds, gemstones, designer names, rarity, condition, craftsmanship and collectible demand can all play a role.
Members of our team have completed specialized industry training in diamonds, jewelry, appraisal services and precious metals evaluation, including GIA training. As a PCGS Authorized Dealer, we can help you decide whether eligible coins may be worth submitting for professional authentication and grading.
We also provide written appraisals, jewelry repair, watch services and help redesigning jewelry you already own. Your piece does not have to have been purchased from us.
Whether you bring one ring or an inherited collection, we take time to explain what you have and your available options. Evaluations, appraisals and transactions are handled with professionalism and discretion.
Many customers first visit because of recommendations from family, friends and neighbors who appreciate our straightforward approach and welcoming atmosphere. We are grateful for those relationships and proud to be part of the Aggieland community.
